Saori Takei

COMPETITIVE COACH

Saori is an experienced Rhythmic Gymnastics coach with over 15 years of expertise in training and mentoring gymnasts to achieve high rankings in national and international competitions. She holds an A.A. in Infant Education from Kyushu Junior College of Kinki University, earned in 2008, and is certified as a judge of National Rhythmic Gymnastics in Japan (2009) and as a nursery and kindergarten teacher in Japan (2008). Saori is fluent in Japanese and has daily conversation-level proficiency in English. Her skill set includes choreographing routines and dances for gala performances.

Throughout her coaching career, Saori has achieved remarkable success. At Rin Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (2016-2023), her teams and individuals secured top rankings, including 1st place in the 2022 Kyushu RG Child Championships in Kagoshima (Group), 1st place in the 2021 Kyushu RG Child Regional Championships in Kagoshima (Individual), and 10th place in the 2020 All Japan Child Championships (Individual).

 

While coaching an overseas local team from 2016 to 2020, her athletes consistently excelled in the All Taiwan Championships, with notable achievements such as 1st place for the Senior team in 2019 and multiple top individual rankings. During her tenure at Kumamoto Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (2005-2016), Saori's athletes consistently performed well, achieving high rankings in various competitions, including 1st place in the 2014 Kyushu RG Child Regional Championships in Kagoshima (Individual) and multiple 1st place finishes at the Coco Fest Invitational in Tokyo.

Saori's extensive experience, combined with her dedication to nurturing young talent, has made her a distinguished figure in the field of Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching.
